Hey guys. I have a lawyer character. He's gonna be fun! I can tell. He has a ruthless quality to him and is a werewolf to boot. Part of the Eastern Pack. He's dominant and forceful, but a real cuddle-bug to those who he enjoys the company of. He has a goal-oriented way of looking at things, a sort of "the ends justify the means" sort of guy, though he definitely doesn't shy away from challenges, both in the court and out. He's careful, standoffish, precise, and just a bit obsessive-compulsive at times. Also, he's only got one eye -- the other one is a prosthetic, made of acrylic and painted photorealistically, so isn't noticeable unless he pops it out or something. It was expensive.
He's a private guy most of the time, his friends tend to be werewolves. He doesn't have any distaste in humans, but does prefer the company of wolves, but seeing humans often and meeting them through his line of work, he either had to grow indifferent or start hating his job. Though, he does weary with the trivial matters of what being a citizen of America entails. Sometimes, yes, the woods look easier. His views on why Blackwood ought to be a werewolf town is because he things that werewolves do best, are most productive, and are more stable in the company of other wolves. Less pressure to act human, more acceptance of the status of being a werewolf. He's well-to-do, which makes him a rather hard man to hate, but his personality makes him a hard one to like as well.
He probably will make a few enemies on the way. In fact, he probably has with any suspicious family members of the two lawyers he had killed. I think, maybe, a fun plot can erupt from that as well, but that aside, he's probably an acquired taste for most of the folks he meets, but for the most part is polite. He just has the "rubs the wrong way" sort of aspect to him for some folks. Joby rarely does anything to outright make him an enemy with someone, but stick your neck out and you get your head chopped off. He has people in his past that he has wronged because of the way he enjoys a challenging win in the courtroom. Or maybe because he's not above manipulating others to get what he wants. He also is into gambling, so if he owes someone money, that can be a fun plot too.
Joby can also be a romantic prospect. As a lover, he's affectionate and romantic. He takes care of the women who seek his company. He is a hard man to court, but once he finds a woman who seems receptive and whom he finds an interest in, he can be into the big romantic acts. He definitely has the money to pull such things off. Joby is well-dressed and takes care of himself and his appearance. He is polite and considerate to his ladies.
Of course, being a lawyer, he can represent some werewolves. Or humans. He's rather good, somewhat professional, and if something's a lost cause, he manages to cut his clients a good deal. So, if you get into trouble (or are planning to...) call Claesson! His business cards say "V. Joby Claesson" so asking what the V. stands for is a fun way to break the ice, lol.
Anyways, I'm also trying to see how he fits in the Eastern Pack. I sorta see him as an influential or good member, if only for how much money he makes and how he isn't afraid to make hard decisions. He's rather serious though. And definitely an easy to pick out guy since he does have to wear an eyepatch when its time for the pack to change into wolves. Since, you know, wearing a glass eye to a pack meeting is a rather bad idea. It makes him look badass. Just so you know.

Oooh. I can so see Naveah in this plot. She's a young, spontaneous woman xD She doesn't dress as conservative and rather likes to express herself. She's also in the Eastern Pack, so of course they would run across each other lol.
I have ideas, but I can't really put them in words >.<

Yeah, I can see proper Mr. Claesson just standing there unamused while Naveah runs circles around him. He's a rather focused individual, but their opposite natures can give some fun times and maybe have him loosen up. I can see this dynamic continuing even in their wolf forms -- him finally breaking down to play at Naveah's insistence. They have some things in common -- such as going by their middle names, lol. I do see him giving little gifts to her if she wedges her way into the handful of special people who he is nice to. He's demonstrative of his affections when he does feel the need to be warm and kind to those he cares about. Otherwise, he's rather unmoveable.
Please share your ideas! I hoped mine helped solidify what you were thinking about.

Okay so. I really want Rose in on this. Like I said in the cbox, Rose always wanted to go to law school but becoming a werewolf hit her hard and she never got to fulfill that dream. She would definitely be drawn to Joby because he's what she always wanted to be. BUT, like I also said, I really think there'd be some envy there too - almost like a friendly-rivalry kind of thing? Maybe?
I'm kind of iffy on a romance between them, though it is a possibility. They're awfully similar so that could make for either a really interesting relationship or a very boring one. But they're both aggressive types of people, maybe a strictly physical relationship? Perhaps they try a one night stand and see how they feel? Some rough lovin' on the side? lol idk.
Either way I definitely see them being friends, possibly even best friends. In a weird kind of way x) Those are just my general ideas, let me know if you think of anything cooler!

Oh yes! I like them as best friends. I can see how they can get along. Like peas in a pod. I enjoy the element of rivalry and envy on Rose's half. I am also liking them testing out a romantic relationship just to see where it goes. Perhaps an interesting angle would be that, as lovers, they are far more compatible as wolves than as humans. I see them having discussions and enjoying each other's ideas and such while appreciating each other's idiosyncrasies.

I have an idea for Joby! He should have some gambling buddies and we can post some poker threads sometime. It is one of his vices. I really see him loaning money to some guy or having him owe money to someone and then having to decide whether to take the high-road and deal with it in a human way or the low one and just tear the man to shreds. Guy can be NPC, but I'd need people to play off of (examples: owners to host the high-stakes poker games/dealers/or just some other players).
