Hi! I'm Cookie. I'm a University student and an Illustrator. I love to write stories, draw, hike, fish, and do a lot of other fun things. I would love to become a Graphic Novelist and write/illustrate my own stories. I love to draw my own characters and come up with different backstories for each of them.
Until then, I'm content to roleplay and create different characters.
It's great to find a nice, active werewolf forum.
- Cookie <3

Cool! My name is Quirky Tea or just QT :3 I'm totes jealous of your art skillz! I also like to draw my own characters if I find a site that allows for that :3 But, I'm not as good as you are with the whole illustrating/coloring/blahblah :D Oh well! I am happy to meet with you!

Definitely! :D I doodle all the time in my notebook. Then again, art isn't what I'm aiming at in school. I'm a Psych major! In love with the subject!!!

That's great. <3
lol Actually, a friend of mine is in the arts with me, but she's also Minoring in Psych. I suppose something like using images in Psychology and whatnot. I don't know a lot about it, but it sounds pretty neat. : D

So cool! :3
I mostly got into psych because my biggest interest is animal training. I want to become a canine behaviorist and help rehabilitate dogs using sound and humane methods :3 My own doggie, I'm rehabilitating. I'm not with him now, but he's come such a long way. I think his progress would be faster if I was home all the time instead of just at the school breaks! I used to be biochem, but I got bored of it, lol.

Wow, that does sound really cool. I didn't know you could go into a more animal-based study in Psych. That's neat. I wish you the best of luck with that. It sounds like you've already made progress with your own dog. And I'm sure when you get the chance, you'll be able to show what you can do.
That's the best part - putting those skills we've spent all these semesters studying for to the test! : D

Yes! That's why I think it is most important to learn stuff that you are passionate about! I know some people who go to college just to get A's! They are SO doing it wrong! You should go because you want to learn! :D I love learning psych stuff and I use the stuff I learned to help my doggy and I want to help doggies everywhere too! I see such sad stuff in my neighborhood T______T
There are people who hire trainers who do stuff that is so wrong :X

Exactly! One of the reasons why I'm glad I'm in a field that I want to go into, and not just a Major to "get a job". You have to work hard to get what you want and where you want to be. Shouldn't just worry about the grade.
I've never had a dog (or any pet before besides fish), but I did work as a dogwalker for awhile. Some dogs were trained in just... weird ways. And then some people don't even bother training their dogs at all. I'm of the mind that if you're gonna have an animal, train it. Treat it properly and let it become... something more than just an object to stave off loneliness. Some people just get pets for the wrong reasons.
lol but that's one of those loaded discussions. It's a bit later for those. XD

I totally agree with you! I think every pet deserves mental stimulation and humane treatment. But you are so right Re: it being a loaded discussion. I had to quit Dogster because a few folks were harassing me for not using choke chains/prong collars/e-collars on my dog even when I said nothing against them using it. I'm like, "Hey, this is how I like to train my doggy. I find that sort of punishment unnecessary for me and my dog." Apparently... that's the most offensive thing I could have said? I'm seriously like the most laidback person either. Instead of getting huffy, I just deleted my account, hahaha.
But that's how I roll. Nobody pisses me off. I just leave without a word if they don't deserve it, but if they do, I put in a good-bye thread. No drama from me!

A good policy lol There's already plenty of drama in real life and online. There's no need to add to it. XD

That is super true! :3 I hardly, if ever, contribute to any dramas at all. The only time I do is if someone steals my codings or my arts >:3 Hehe
